week 14: tech tip

One thing I would like to recommend is an app called Group me. It allowed us to communicate with others in the class and ask for help towards a group a people. It is basically texting that doe not use data  so it would save you some money too. We can communicate with others at times when we could not see them.

Week 11: Tech Tip

My tech tip this week is not for your computer but it is for your phone. So basically there different names for it for the iphone its called jail breaking and the android it is called rooting. Now people always say “don’t do it” or “ it will make your phone slower.” Yeah, that is true but only if you download a ton of junk. The reason I do it is that it helps keep me organized. I have not done it to my new phone but when i had ill i did was make subtle changes and it too my own personal liking

Week 10 Tech Tip, Quote

For this week I visited the page Behappy.me to create a quote. After you create your quote, they give you options to customize and buy things with your quotes on like pillow cases, canvases, T-shirts and mugs. While you are making your quotes, they give you an options to change up the colors, font for the quote and add different emoji's.

Week 9: Tech Tip

This tech tip is google chrome exclusive. (Sorry IE and Mozilla users) If you are not aware, Chrome has extension its online store. I have been using extensions to make my internet experience the best for me. From changing white backgrounds on pages to black or customizing your facvorite homepage it is really useful. There is an Extension called incredi Start page. It changes your home to page full of bookmarks, recently closed tabs and most visited websites all in one place. Oh yeah,  it has a notepad so you can copy a quick link whenever, you need too.

Tech Tip: Websites

So this was the first time ever hearing about Google sites. Using i thought it was actually pretty cool. You could always use Facebook, twitter, or other social media but there is always a lot thing you can't do on those sites. Google sites a good way to let people know about something your interested without having to pay a fee. Your can customize your page, create different pages with in your website and upload pictures too.
